Woodstock Ranch offers many exciting options for training and showing!

Training:

We offer training for all breeds of horses and in multiple disciplines. We can give your youngster a solid foundation in groundwork and colt starting. We can also polish and maintaining the finished horse or add a new event. Some of the areas we train include: western pleasure, hunter under saddle, horsemanship and patterns, trail, lead changes and western riding, halter and showmanship, driving, dressage, western dressage, and starting horses over fences.

Our training program is individually tailored to your horse and your specific needs and goals. We offer a free training evaluation of your horse and let you know exactly what your horse may or may not be capable of achieving.

Prices:

  • Full time training (horse ridden 5 days a week) $550 a month (does not include board)
  • Part time training (horse ridden 2 to 4 days a week on a consistent basis) $45 a ride
  • Single rides (horse ridden once here and there) $55 a ride
  • Scheduled ride (horse ridden at a specific time of the day so you can watch the ride) you will be charged at regular lesson prices.

Showing:

Woodstock Ranch trainers and horses show on a regional and national level with several different circuits.

Our English Team attends recognized and schooling Dressage and Combined Training shows around the Midwest frequently attending USEF/USDF and IDCTA shows at Lamplight, Silverwood, Fields and Fences, and Sunflower. This team is headed up by Jill Heisler.

Our Western Team attends breed and open shows around the Midwest as well as major events in Oklahoma and Texas. Some of the circuits we attend include APHA, PtHA, NSBA, WDAA, and various open schooling shows. This team is headed up by Nell Tekampe.

Our Specialty Teams are headed up by Kimber Pritt who coaches our ACTHA team (American Competitive Trail Horse of America). These horses travel to local ACTHA eventsĀ  doing competitive trail rides and obstacle competitions. We also have a WDAA Team (Western Dressage Association of America) coached by Nell Tekampe. This team travels to local western dressage events as well as the WDAA World Show each year in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Everyone starts somewhere and we offer options for those of you that want to learn to show and get your feet wet all the way up to the national competitor. We offer free evaluations where we can evaluate your horses potential and discus your skill level and goals. We always ride to win but nothing is more important than good sportsmanship and a fun, constructive environment for you and your horse.
