The Woodstock Ranchers Drill Team began in 2009. We are a relatively new drill team comprised of riders between the ages of 12 and 50+. We have a cowboy theme and perform to country music with the purpose of entertaining and having a good time. Our horses are comprised of mixed breeds with backgrounds in reining, dressage, western pleasure, and ranch work. Horses and riders enjoy improving their skills in a fun and challenging way. There is nothing like the feeling of working together as a team to accomplish a goal.

The Woodstock Ranch Drill team has performed at a variety of demos and competitions around the Midwest. The team meets and practices weekly on Saturdays at 2:30. Costs are $35 a week for the drill team lesson. The arena is reserved for drill team at this time. Coaches provide help and instruction for both horse and rider both individually and as a team. Visitors are always welcome to watch the practice and we have a nice viewing area to do so.

We are also currently accepting new riders to the team! Riders and horses should have basic riding skills but do not need to have previous drill experience. Any horse and rider can learn to do drill team and carry a flag. Our instructors are happy to work with you and your horse on the skills that you need. If your interested don’t be afraid to ask or come watch a practice and see what you think.
